I’m Theresa, educator, nurse, wife, mother. I first learned about the Marquette method at a conference I attended at the beginning of my PhD program. I was immediately struck by the fact that there was a group of researchers dedicated to developing an evidence-based method of fertility awareness.

The Marquette method empowers women and couples with the necessary knowledge to confidently make decisions about their fertility.

I am passionate about helping women learn about their bodies, and use that knowledge to find answers to various stages of their reproductive health – getting pregnant, family planning, breastfeeding, menopause, etc. I have had the honor to accompany quite a few women at various points in their journey, and it is rewarding to see women gain the confidence to maintain their reproductive health and achieve their fertility goals.

I was born in Massachusetts and raised in few different states, but primarily on the East Coast. I got my bachelor’s in nursing from Marymount University in Arlington, VA. I went on to pursue my PhD in Nursing at Marquette and specialized in female infertility. After I completed my PhD, I moved to NYC to do a postdoctoral fellowship at NYU. When I moved to NY, I met my husband Joe and we recently had our first child. I am currently taking some time off work stay at home with my daughter. In my free time, I enjoy learning new recipes, long walks in Central Park, exercising and spending time with friends.
